Sharing a very nice and clear photo of the ol' Johnston/Mali estate found from a 1956 article highlighting our areas past. (click images to view larger)
The mansion of course was well long since gone in 1956, but there's a several page spread about a new bank, State Trust Co's, new Netherwood branch (now PNC on South Ave by Netherwood station) and they hyped up everything they could for their 2-day gala.
